Redwood City Fire Department wanted to promote their department and highlight a few specialties. We spent the morning of our first day shooting with the boat team. Capturing the crew and the boat in action along with a few interviews. LA Firefighter Beau Porter delivered a presentation in front of a live studio audience. This made Beau more comfortable and gave him a way to connect with the audience in person and virtually.

South County Fire Department was looking to get in depth with their recruitment efforts. Informing their audience on what it’s really like working at South Country Fire. We took our studio on the road and turned their newest stations app bay into a set. The 5 camera setup was gave us plenty of coverage in post production.

Ontario Fire Department filmed their academy, capturing b-roll and audio with guidance from the Firestar team. The department uploaded the footage throughout the academy so we could categorize and organize the footage for editing. Two weeks from the academy graduation We received the final shots of the academy and we deliver the following week with time for a round of small edits and a final audio and color pass before graduation day.
